MiracleFeet
MiracleFeet is on a mission to provide access to treatment to children born with clubfoot in low and middle-income countries. Clubfoot is a treatable birth anomaly that affects 1 in 700 newborns worldwide. By 2025, MiracleFeet had enrolled 115,000 children in non-surgical clubfoot treatment in 37 countries. We’re funding them to enrol over 70,000 new children in clubfoot treatment by 2028.

Challenge
Two million children live with the stigma of untreated clubfoot, a condition that causes one or both feet to turn in and down, making walking painful if not impossible. Children living with clubfoot face incredible hurdles their whole lives. Of the 200,000 babies born with clubfoot every year, most live in low- and middle-income countries where fewer than 15% have access to appropriate treatment.
Response
95% of clubfoot cases can be cured using a simple series of plaster casts followed by a foot brace worn at night to prevent relapse. This nonsurgical intervention results in full correction of the foot in four to six weeks. MiracleFeet works with local clinics and health workers to bring this low-cost solution to children who need it. They train providers, build awareness, improve clubfoot identification and referral processes, provide bracing and casting, and implement strategies to improve adherence to treatment.
MiracleFeet aims to treat over 70,000 new children by 2028 and enter at least six new countries, while continuing to provide follow-up care to the 17,000+ children currently in treatment.
