Challenge
Non-profits play a critical role in delivering essential services to the world’s poorest and most vulnerable people, but they often lack the data, analysis and technology needed to understand which parts of their programmes are working, which are not, and at what cost. Without this evidence, it is hard to improve programme design, strengthen day-to-day implementation and maximise impact.
Response
IDinsight supports selected partners of Cartier Philanthropy for People and Nature to strengthen their monitoring systems, rigorously assess the impact and cost-effectiveness of their programmes, and explore how technology and AI can improve their work. Depending on each partner’s needs, this can include co-designing and implementing external evaluations, building simple, useful dashboards, and testing new tech-enabled approaches.
