Our 2018-2019 Annual Report is out!
It is that time of year again!
Cartier Philanthropy 2018-2019 Annual Report is out and we’re delighted to share it with you, not least of all because it has a completely new look and style.
Driven by our commitment to improve the lives of the most vulnerable, we allocated 19 grants last year and added to our portfolio 12 new bold, ambitious and caring partner organisations that work hard to solve the most pressing issues in some of the least developed regions of the world.
In our quest for proven interventions and transformative solutions, we have set up a 5-year field trial with the International Center for Research on Women, designed to build and share evidence on what does and doesn’t work in the field of boys’ and men’s engagement in gender equality.
We also visited 10 programmes we’re funding in Guatemala, Morocco, Kenya and Uganda to gain a deep understanding of the progress partner organisations are making and the challenges they face in the field.
Cartier Philanthropy has invested 54 million Swiss Francs since we were founded. Our report presents some of the results achieved and our partners’ steadfast resolve and commitment towards access to clean water and sanitation, adequate nutrition, but also the abandonment of harmful practices for girls, just to mention a few.
These marks of progress towards more equitable and inclusive societies bear testimony to our efforts to live up to our responsibilities.
