World Food Programme
The United Nations World Food Program (WFP) is the world’s largest humanitarian agency fighting hunger worldwide. WFP pursues a vision of the world in which every man, woman and child has access at all times to the food needed for an active and healthy life. On average, WFP reaches more than 90 million people with food assistance in 80 countries each year, in the most remote areas, directly serving the hungry poor. WFP guarantees food access in emergency situations and as well as enables people, communities and countries to meet their own food needs. WFP is entirely funded by voluntary contributions.
